I have been a member of KPPA 30 plus years but I really haven’t been active in the association until the last 15 years. By being an active part of the association, I have learned so much because this group really shares their ideas and knowledge. Not only does KPPA have great speakers at their seminars, but through the social side I also have gained knowledge and made many good friends. Our studio, Ron’s Studio located in Ottawa, Kansas, was started by my husband, Ron, in 1969. I joined the studio in 1970. I don’t do the shooting, but I help with all other aspects of running a studio. My husband and I have three grown children, a son-in-law and a daughter-in-law and three beautiful grandchildren. I have served on both Senior and Junior Boards and since 2003, I have been the Membership Chairman. I have really enjoyed this job, it is a lot of work, but have a committee to help me consisting of Katie Rockers, Edie Smith and Carol Roker.
