Active Membership is one who earns an income working for themselves or a company as a professional photographer, photographic artist, owner, manager, or educator in the photography field. This Active Membership is extended to those living within or maintaining their business in the State of Kansas.
-The right to vote on all matters before the membership
-Eligible to serve on the Board of Directors (Executive and Senior Board Members must be PPA Members)
-Eligible to enter Image Competition
-Fellowship Degree Program
-Use of KPPA Logo in Marketing
SUSTAINING MEMBERSHIP - $50.00 (USD)
PHOTOGRAPHER ENTHUSIAST, OUT OF STATE or SUPPLIER MEMBER

Sustaining Membership is extended to those who have a high interest in photography.
This is also extended to one who earns an income working for themselves or a company as a professional photographer, photographic artist, owner, manager, or educator in the photography field outside the state of Kansas.
This level is also extended to manufacturers or distributors of photographic equipment, laboratories, publishers, firms and individuals providing services and supplies to the photographic profession, and/or those who offer a service to professional photographers. Additional sponsorship opportunities available.

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP - $35.00 (USD)

A Student Member is one under age 25 who is enrolled in an accredited photographic class in high school, college, or trade school; and who is recommended for membership by either an Active, Life or Sustaining KPPA Member in good standing. Students must submit proof of their active student ID at time of renewal of Student Membership. After they are no longer a student or 25 years of age, at that time, they shall advance to Active or Sustaining Member status.

Honorary Life Member
Life Membership is an honorary membership with all rights and privileges of the the Active membership. It shall be given by a two-thirds majority vote of the board of directors. (Non-members cannot apply, only award to active members by the board of directors)
KPPA Membership Code of Ethics
MEMBERSHIP CODE OF ETHICS: I, as a requirement for admission to and retention of membership and participation in the Kansas Professional Photographers Association, agree to strive at all times to upgrade and improve my knowledge and skill of professional photography, marketing and related areas.
In my dealings with users of photography and the general public, I will:
1. Strive to present all photographic services in a manner which reflects the highest
levels of professionalism.
2. Deal with all users of photography and the general public with honesty and integrity.
3. Not use any marketing or competitive practice which violates any Federal Trade Commission, or other Federal or State regulatory agency rule of regulation, or Federal or State statute of any decision of any Federal or State Court.
4. Strive at all times to produce photography and photographic services in accordance with the highest levels of professionalism.
5. In all dealings with fellow professional photographers, students and others who aspire to be professional photographers, I agree to share the knowledge and skill of professional photography.
6. Support efforts for and assist in the education of all interested persons and the general public in the art and science of professional photography.
As a member, I attest that all statements made by me are true to the best of my knowledge and further attests that I have read and agree, without reservation, to abide by the Code of Ethics of the Kansas Professional Photographers Association. I further understand that failure to do so may result in expulsion from the Association.
