Welcome to the Kansas Professional Photographers Association

KPPA is an association of photographers and those working within the photography industry. Supporting photography as a profession and an art is one of the primary goals of this organization. Thus we provide mentors, training, KPPA Shutter Expos, and guidance to help members improve their skills. Technical skill, creative artistry, and business management are the essentials of a successful photographer. Association with others in the photography yields growth and experience you cannot gain on your own. Members gain skills from Zoom Coffee and Conversations, Creative Crew Events, merited f:stops, and KPPA Shutter Expos offered every year. Some of those events are even free to members. Technical training from some of the industries best photographers is only part of what we offer. We invite everyone, Members, and NON-members to participate in Our Annual KPPA Shutter Expo State Image Competition and Awards Banquet. We also offer an exclusive benefit to our members of an annual Image Critique event as well as an annual Image Review event to help in preparation for our upcoming State Competition. Members receive accolades for support of the organization and national participation through Our KPPA Fellowship Program.
